Chris Timms Website and Guitar 1 on 1 Overview
Chris Timms is one of the finest musicians in Brisbane and has really perfected the art of guitar solos. As a regular gigging musician and teacher, Chris came to 5150 Studios requesting two separate websites. In late 2009 Chris had Guitar 1 on 1 designed and built to promote his guitar school based in South Brisbane.

The requirements for this website were simple – an easy to use website with blogging features, the ability to easily update content and promote his teaching videos. This website was also on tight budget constraints, but with some fast coding and expert experience, the website was created in less than a fortnight, launched and ready to be visited by his students. The website now ranks in Google’s top 10 organic listings for search terms such as “Guitar Lessons Brisbane” and “Guitar Lessons Gold Coast”.
More recently Chris approached 5150 Studios with the concept of an album based website, devoted to the launch of his latest CD – The Journey Home. After the success of his Guitar 1 on 1 website, it was an easier decision to work with the team at 5150 Studios again.

This project was under a few more constraints this time as the artwork had already been completed prior to the website creation so we had the challenge of blending in the current design with our personal touches to create a dramatic, yet modern looking website. The site utilises some fantastic core technologies including a rotating slideshow, article blogging from the home page, a left justified menu navigation, social media integration and a great looking photo gallery.
The overall feel of the website has turned out great, loading quickly in all browsers and compliments the album and iTunes download page perfectly. Make sure you visit Chris Timm’s websites to see what we mean!
